The Drying Process of the Sludge and the Food Waste Pulp turns the waste into a grinded powder like product which has a moisture content of approx. 15%.

The End Product is stabilized for storage in dry environment without further fermentation. Weight/volume is reduced by 80-90%.

The Dryer is of a self cleaning Non Contact type. This means that the waste is fluidized inside the drying chamber by rotating paddles and heated air is blown into the waste. The paddles also have a grinding and self cleaning effect. Since the drying process uses hot air as a drying agent instead of heated surfaces, no burned slag occur inside the drying chamber during the drying process.
